Motion Expert – Video Analysis
Matt Fellingham uses Motion Expert which offers him a number of tools that will allow for a detailed analysis of their athletes biomechanical efficiency.
Motion Expert coaching software offers the coach a simple but powerful means by which to firstly analyse their athlete’s technique but more importantly, allows them to clearly demonstrate to the player important technical points.
Motion Expert offers many ways to carry out a detailed analysis of your player’s strokes including:
- comparing two or more swings,
- using drawing tools to emphasize precise body positioning,
- use overlay function to compare body positioning over different time frames i.e. contact point and follow through,
- measuring the precise speed/tempo of the players swing,
- Enhanced viewing of video using magnify, zoom, and pan tools.
- Comparisons between players, e.g. compare yourself to a professional.
- Print off a photo sequence of a your shot.
Motion Expert also allows the coach to communicate the findings of any swing analysis in an easy and understandable manner. These include:
- locating, printing, and emailing specific video frames to your players,
- Copying video together with the analysis to DVD.
